Education

  • In 2004 graduated Faculty of Medicine of the Russian Peoples' Friendship University.
  • 2004-2006 trained in residency at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Medical Faculty of the Russian Peoples' Friendship University.
  • 2006-2008 was trained in graduate school at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Medical Faculty of the Russian Peoples' Friendship University.
  • In 2008 successfully defended his Phd thesis on the topic: "Dislocation after total hip arthroplasty"

Work Experience

  • From 2008 to 2012, worked as a doctor in the orthopedic department at City Clinic No. 31.
  • From 2012 to 2021, served as the head of the orthopedic department at City Clinic No. 31.
  • From 2016 to 2021, served as the chief orthopedic surgeon in the Moscow West District.
  • Since 2021, has been the head of the Department of Orthopedics at the National Institute of Health named after Academician S. Kh. Avdalbekyan (Armenia).
  • Since 2022, has worked as an orthopedic surgeon at Wigmore and Erebuni hospitals in Yerevan.
  • Has worked as Faculty during cadaver courses dedicated to THA and TKA organized by DePuy (2016-currently);
  • Has worked as Faculty during AOTrauma AO Recon Courses in Russia and Armenia
  • Confirmed as AORecon Faculty since 2019;
  • Zimmer product-consultant since 2020;
  • Smith and Nephew product-consultant since 2019;
  • Co-founder in GYUMRI ORTHOPEDIC SCHOOL.

Participation in International events, courses, fellowships

Trained in Germany, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Belgium, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Greece, Austria and US. Performs more than 500 orthopedic surgeries per year. Engaged in scientific work in areas: total hip, knee and shoulder replacement, revision arthroplasty surgery, periprosthetic fractures, foot surgery, treatment of limb deformities and trauma of musculoskeletal system.
Author of more than 50 scientific publications in Russia and abroad.
