Karen V. Danielyan

Dr. Karen Danielyan is one of the leading specialists in the field of plastic surgery in Armenia.
As an expert in rhinoplasty (nose surgery), he also specializes in facial surgery (facelift, protruding ear correction, eyelid surgery), anterior abdominal wall (tummy tuck), breast enlargement (as well as lift and reduction) and body contouring using transplantation of one’s own fat in combination with stem cells. In addition to his practical work, Dr. Danielian is engaged in teaching at the Department of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and Microsurgery of the Yerevan Medical University. Dr. Danielyan is one of the founding fathers of the Armenian Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association. He is an active member of a number of international associations, such as the European Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (ESPRAS), the International Confederation of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS), and the European Association of Aesthetic Surgery (ASSECE). Dr. Danielian is also an Honorary Member of the Ukrainian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons
Being a recognized authority among his colleagues and enjoying respect and love among his patients, Dr. Danielyan devotes a lot of time to charity, operating free of charge on children with congenital malformations of the face and limbs (cleft lip, palate, syndactyly, polydactyly, etc.). Continuously, in cooperation with leading specialists from the United States, Dr. Danielian operates on children from orphanages and boarding schools, wounded and disabled personnel of the war in Karabakh and Abkhazia, who suffered from the devastating 1988 earthquake in Armenia
Scientific activity is the basis of surgical practice. Dr. Danielyan believes that in order to achieve successful results, you need to devote an extensive amount of time to science. Dr. Danielyan constantly participates in international symposiums and conferences. In 1998, Dr. Danielyan, one of the first in the countries of the post-Soviet period, was officially invited to the 67th annual meeting of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons – at that time the most significant event of the year in the field of plastic surgery. There he led a presentation to the Board of Directors for the first time presenting Armenia. Dr. Danielian has written and published many scholarly journals in various international medical publications. Currently, Dr. Danielian is particularly interested in the research of stem cells and transplantation of fat for rejuvenation and restoration of aged and damaged skin.
